A reader’s room.
Bookflock is a quiet place for book clubs to decide what to read next — together, and on their own terms.
What it is
Reading, by the club’s own taste.
Most apps point everyone at the same bestseller list. Bookflock does the opposite. The next book comes from your club — what its members are drawn to, what they nominate, what they argue for. The room sets the shelf, not a global chart.
What you can do
A handful of plain things, done well.
- Create or join clubs. Start a room of your own or find one whose taste matches yours.
- Discover and search books. Look up titles and follow threads from one book to the next.
- Keep a personal shelf. Hold onto what you’ve read and what you mean to read.
- Nominate and vote on club reads. Put a book forward, make your case, and let the club choose.
- Discuss around books. Talk in the margins and chat as you read, at whatever pace suits the room.
Where we are
An early, private beta.
Bookflock is in early private beta. Some corners are still being built, and a few things will change as we learn how clubs actually use the room. We’d rather grow slowly and well than loudly. If you’re here, thank you for reading with us.
